Photo Shoot - Jordan Graham & the PeckerWood 500

So recently I had the privilege of dropping in on my buddy Jordan to check out his latest build... Not a 4-wheeled vehicle this time, but a 1967 Triumph 500 chop, true 60's style! And it doesn't just look pretty, it goes like hell and can handle all the abuse that crazy man Graham gives it! Of course like every other great build that Jordan does, it's a family affair... Women, children, dogs, and Dads are all involved!

Look for the upcoming article in Outlaw Biker Magazine for more details on the build.

More Smurfy Primer and some Fresh Air!

Okay! The last of the parts that will be gloss black, that will go on the chassis, are primered! WOOHOO! ANNNND! My fresh-air supplied respirator showed up yesterday so that means I can lay down the gloss black, 2-part, single stage Polyurethane over top of all these smurfy looking parts! PROGRESS! Finally! Can't wait to see these things in gloss black!

Primer Progress! Smurfy!

Major stepping stone here! After several weeks of prep work to get things just the way I wanted, I finally got some parts in primer! All the tiny little stupid parts that are the worst to paint.

The primer is a Valspar DTM and yes, it's tinted blue. These parts will actually be BLACK when it's done. Not blue.

Copper Coupe Tank

I saw this on the HAMB awhile back and maybe someone knows who built it or who it belongs too. I believe it was for a Model A Coupe. For the life of me I can't remember who made it, but I ran across all the pictures for it this morning and just thought it was something REALLY nice to look at on a Friday to motivate you guys to get in the shop and do some quality metal work this weekend. Everytime I see these pictures I just want to go build something!

Hats off to the makers and thinker-upper of this tank! STUNNING! Someone tell me who I can give credit to!

EDIT! The builder of this masterpiece is Raphael Schaub, of Switzerland. See comments attached to this post for a link to more work of his.

Tony's 1924 Ford Model T Roadster

Okay, seriously... If any of you are looking for a REALLY cool roadster, feast your eyes on Tony Miller's roadster! This is one of the coolest roadster I've seen! It's extremely well belt, sounds great, and really moves!! If you would like to own a cool tradtional T-roadster, I seriously encourage you to check this out!

The funny thing about this is, I would rather see him keep it so I can stare at it once in awhile when he brings it to breakfast, buuuut... A man's gotta do what a man's gotta' do! :)

The car will be at LA Roadster Show this weekend, if you would like to see it in person. Otherwise Tony's info is on the sheets below.

Sneak Peek! Micro belly!

A combined effort project with David Rippe, of Hyperformance Products, and myself. Brainstorming came up with this little machining project. Some jamming for me with SolidWorks and his masterful CNC machining work!

This is all you get to see for now... Going to be really cool!

More Tatra V8 stuff!!! VIDEO!!

AWESOME!!!!!

Hemi of the day

Well... It's safe to say I pretty much know nothing about this engine and today is the first time I've ever even heard of one, but how about this Tatra 603, aluminum, air cooled, Hemi V8. I believe this is a 1959 model. Pretty neat looking!
