I lied...

...there will be more cut-away drawings. They will just happen more randomly.

The Restoration of a 904... Gunnar Racing

Kevin Jeannette and the folks at Gunnar Racing have been involved with racing and building Porsches for decades. They've also had the nose in a few 904 restorations, not to mention several other rare and vintage racing Porsches. Check out the progressive pictures of each of the below in their COMPLETED PROJECTS pages. Tons of great details on the step by step restoration.

904 Fridays...

Maybe I should make Fridays about the Porsche 904? Naw... I'll just post pictures of this wonderful automobile whenever I want to instead. :) Rather it be an original or a replica, they are still one of my all time favorites and always will be. If someone would like to put me in their will to receive one, I would gladly fill in as a family member...

Anyone notice something interesting about the 904 in the picture below? Not sure if that's a legitimate 904, but it's interesting none the less.

Friday Cutaways...

Well, Friday Cutaways is going to get a break for awhile. I'm simply out of "on-topic" cutaways for the time being. There's lots out there, but a lot of them are computer generated or just simply not that interesting.

If you guys would like to send some to me, you are more than welcome. scootermcrad@yahoo.com. Links to some that I have missed are encouraged as well.

In the mean time... It's been a nice run!

Progress tease...

New progress and a new camera...

Still have to solder the cap mounting flange and seal the tank up, but good progress none the less.

Photography - John Jackson & Not Stock Photography

For me, hot rodding has always been about building a car to drive and drive it as much as possible. Sure, it's about the build TOO, but who doesn't LOVE to see a hot rod or kustom ripping past you on the road!? Car shows are a really great way to show off a car sitting static... But I have to say I'm a SUCKER for great driving photography; cars on the move!

John Jackson, of Not Stock Photography, has a way with light. This guy shoots pictures that will blow you away, but some of my favorites from him are his driving and panning shots. Check 'em out for yourself and make sure you check out his website to see what he's up to...
