Last post of 2009! Thought I would end it with pics from our road trip that started in Ohio and ended in California. Didn't post them all (600+ pictures!!), just posted some I thought you guys might dig. The trip was 12-states and we even got to drive Route 66 for awhile. The 10-day break from the internet was GREAT!
Hope you enjoy! The trip was a blast!
Start it off with a night shot of Hoover Dam...
Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo, TX!
Some scenes from Route 66
Floor in a pizza shop in Iowa City
Grandpa Hibbard's woodshop...
Clifton Mill, Ohio...

Happy Holidays! Anyone there?
I'm getting ready to go to the airport and wanted to pass on happy holidays wishes to everyone! I'm doing a 12-state road trip from Ohio back to Cali! I will be away from the Blog until I get back in a little more than a week. Probably won't be too many updates, if any, until 2010.
With that being said... I have a ton of stuff coming up for 2010. The Model A will be on the road and a few other exciting things including a mystery project or two.
What I would really like to know is what you guys like (if anything) about the blog. I get busy so it makes it hard to update on a regular basis, but would love to know if anyone is actually checking it out. If there is something particular you like about the blog, speak up! Post your comments below...
Thanks for reading and I hope everyone has a great and safe holiday season!
Cheers!
Scott

*** ATTENTION! Johnie's Broiler Sign STOLEN! ***
A few months ago, someone apparently wanted to take a little something for themselves to remember Johnie's Broiler. The 18-foot long sign was removed from the premises. The sign looks like the one circled in the photo below.
Hard to miss, folks! If you have information you may email Kevin at: cyclonequickie@aol.com or myself: scootermcrad@yahoo.com.
Just looking for the sign to be returned. Annonymous is fine. Just want information leading to its return. PLEASE GET THE WORD OUT! Pretty hard to miss an 18-foot sign, but people need to know it's missing first! Post it on your blogger pages, post it on your websites, send emails to your friends, whatever it takes! Your help is appreciated!
Johnie's Broiler is now Bob's Broiler and is located at 7447 Firestone Blvd. Downey, California, 90241. (562) 927-3383
Any help would be appreciated by all that have helped bring back this national landmark!
** NOTE! Please read Kevin's comments in the comment section below this post for more details. **

Mooneyes X-mas, Rain or Shine... it POURED!
Despite all the rain and chill, it was really a fun time at Mooneyes X-mas party at Irwindale Speedway this weekend. It rained, it poured, there were lakes in the parking lot, but people still came and had a great time and made the best of it! Anyone with an EZ-UP made new friends and I appreciate all that let me duck under when it was coming down in sheets!
Gotta' love an El Nino year.... UHG!

WOW! At the lakes...
Can't remember where I got these pictures, but if I remember correctly, this guy drove a LONG WAYS to get to Bonneville and nothing was going to stop this adventure!
EDIT! This Deuce belongs to Keith Cornell from the Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop in New York. Thanks Pete! They say the memory is the first to go as you get older. HA!
Here's to people that DRIVE the hell out of their hot rods!! That's what it's allll about!
If anyone knows the owner, reply with a comment so I can give them credit. THANKS!
