Mechanical meets your living space! GET BACK!

I love industrial anything. Furniture, machines, gears, cogs, levers, valves, gauges, casting patterns, all that stuff... I really like what some people have done with old machine bases and other components of machines for a tasteful industrial twist on an every day living space. I'm going to be posting more and more of that kind of stuff around here...

If you are interested in BUYING this kind of stuff and have a pretty swollen wallet, you can check out GET BACK Inc. They sell some seriously cool stuff!

If ya' got 'em, DRIVE 'EM!

Holiday weekend! Everyone be careful and drive safe!

Rear view of Dave Russell's 31 Vicky! Looks like a blast!

Friday Cutaways... Fernando Vicente

Okay... Known about this guy for awhile, and normally I don't post stuff like this, but seriously, this guy is brilliant and his work must be seen! Some of you will get why I posted it, and some of you may not. Either way, enjoy this incredible artist. I'll add some more automotive related stuff later...

Not sure where I found this last one, but if it's NOT his work, someone please let me know. I've collected these pictures from the internet from various places, and saved them in a folder, but I can't remember where I got them all. It APPEARS to be his, though.

The Spitfire MK - What do ya' wanna' know?

I ran across this website with some really great information on the Spitfire, including a lot of reference pictures and documentation. Pretty neat! Even a detailed picture section on the cockpit of the plane, using a restored Spitfire as the subject. Maybe it will give someone some fabrication ideas for their current project; automotive, aircraft, or otherwise...

How not to ship engine parts

Not sure what happened here, but Hemi parts are tough parts! Not a scratch on 'em!

Jaguar XJ13 - Again

Still one of my favorites...

Was such an amazing car. Good read on Wikipedia about the car, if you're interested:

There's also a replica being made:

And how about a video of this incredible car...
