Friday Film - Chad Plavan. Vintage Racer

Yep.  Another cool Porsche flick.  If someone would send me some cool hot rod related flicks that I haven't posted, it would be appreciated!  Just haven't found anything worth posting, lately.  So, you'll keep seeing OTHER STUFF, until then...

I really like this little video.  To me, this is what it's all about.  Building something at home and taking it to the track to show "the big guys" what's going on.  Pretty neat!

Insane Tool Friday - Shipyard

Ran across this on the Garage Journal.  Some images from an early shipyard.  Now THIS is how you make a crank shaft!!  And how about this O/A copier??!!  I want that!

A German Thing

Looking for some good hot rod stuff to post...

...In the mean time, here's a cool video by Hagerty.  It just really reminded me of the first time I went for a ride in my good Dutch brother's '72 911 RS clone...  It was all over after I went for a ride with him up the 405 to check out the Porsche LIT Meet, in LA...

Back Behind the Helmet - Helpin' with Hot Rods

Been away from any big welding projects for awhile, since I'm kind of in finish-work mode with paint and body stuff.  Was really nice to take a few hours out of my weekend to do two things I really love to do...  Help friends/family and work on hot rods...  all at once!

Weldin' a frame patch in for my good brother's '33 frame for the Sugar City Special for Sugar City Speed Shop.

North Carolina Museum of Art - Porsche by Design

Two new videos out...  They just keep getting better.  Finally some discussion on keeping the rear wheels stuck to the ground on a car with an engine where the world thought it shouldn't be...

And how about that going 246 miles per hours in a 917?

Porsche 3.2L Tear-down - WICKED SIXES

Super excited to finally get the green light to post this!  A seriously cool stop-motion film of a 3.2L 911 engine being torn down in Matthias Hoeing's Porsche engine shop.  Check out the video and check out Wicked Sixes!

OHV Madness - Model T/A/B

I love Ford bangers!   Seems like there were a million Overhead Valve kits out there for them.  I'd take any of these, please...
