I don't think sitting on the gas tank will be a problem as the driver will be thrown well clear of the car in a crash due to the lack of restraints, or have his head torn off when the roll bar breaks off, it is extended rather sloppily. Lots of cool metal work tough.
Whats incredible is having the balls to sit in there enveloped in gas tank.
