Today was a good day!
Today, Maurice van den Tillaard (Flyin' Dutchman), Michael van der Lee (General Wheels), and myself ran around and met up with Brandon Holstein, of Brawny Built to check out his latest Evo build. Bitchin' bike, some great photos and a nice sunny day to back it all up!

Hemi Valve covers of... well... the YEAR!
Notice anything different about these Chrysler IMPERIAL valve covers??
Few extra lumps there... right? These covers are one-off covers that were stamped just for Steve Wright. The 392 Chrysler Imperial was available in 1957 and 1958. They were not offered with solid lifters and adjustable rocker assemblies. The "dimples" were only seen on Chrysler 300 covers, Industrial engines and Marine engines... (to the best of my knowledge anyway). The dimples provided clearance for the adjustable rockers used with solid lifter valve trains.
That's my fun fact for the day.
Oh... if I'm wrong, please tell me so I don't feel like an idiot AND so I can get my facts straight. HAHA! Thanks!

Four wheels or two?
So, Maurice Van Den Tillaard is in town (FDPhoto) and we did a little two wheelin' with the Cycle Zombies and spent some time watchin' the Stopnik's tare up a local pool. These kids rip for sure!

Bass is at it again!!
Watch out! Brian Bass is at again! Another Hemi coupe build! Everytime I see this guy's work I just want to chop all my stuff up and send it to the recycler. Absolutely amazing! Looking forward to seeing progress on this build!

Vintage Wiring source
While looking around for replacement dash lights, I ran across a place called "the Brillman Company" that sells a bunch of neat vintage wiring components like switches, braided ignition and primary wire, raja clips, spark plug adapters, wire holders and looms, lighting, etc. Thought maybe this might help someone.
