These pictures were posted up on the HAMB, but ultimately came from a website with some great high definition history pictures of industry workers. Great stuff! The website is Shorpy. An amazing website for sure! For that matter, what an amazing era! I bet my Grandparents saw some amazing advancements in industry and technology!
Enjoy just a sample of the pictures. Visit the Shorpy site for more incredible pictures!

Model A update!
I've made some decent progress over the past few months, but it's mostly been little odds and ends that don't really show. The biggest things have been the complete "redo" on the front crossmember, the Hemi that I'm using to do the shake down and getting the body back on so I can finish the k-member on the chassis, shocks, gas tank mounts and a bunch of other little things on the list.
The list is still HUGE! Tons of things to do!!
Slowly but surely...
Ground clearance is much better now. Gained a full inch from the new spring and crossmember design.
Grille shell will get lifted and chopped 4-inches or so.

Info on the JAP/GN Aero Racer
Okay, I got a little info on that Aero racer below. I received an email from a gentleman named Wally (just guessing from the email address) with some links and info.
Based on the markings the car was probably run by the GN race team and the obvious would be that the engine make is probably JAP Motors. Wally's email reinforced that. He also included these links:

and

Keep the info coming guys! I'll post new info as I get it. THANKS!

Aero Racer
This Aero Racer just blows me away! I honestly know nothing about it and I pulled these pictures from the HAMB awhile back, but WOW it's amazing! A mechanical marvel for sure!
If anyone has any information, feel free to email me at scootermcrad@yahoo.com and put "Aero Racer Info" in the subject line. I would really like to know more and if anyone has a VIDEO of this thing running and/or driving, that would be fabulous!
Thanks guys! Enjoy the view!

Motivational Video!
Because it's simply a classic I have to put it up here. If you haven't seen this video, you need to crawl out from under the rock you're living under and see what's going on around you.
This video is of Jimmy White, of Circle City Hot Rods, going on a little drive in his Chrysler Hemi powered Model A Coupe. It was shot by my buddy Maurice (Flyin' Dutchman and FD Photo, linked to the right of the page) and should put a smile on any hot rodders face!
Hope to see it back on the road soon Jimmy!
Enjoy!

Antique Nationals '08 Fontana Speedway
Okay! This has to be one of THEEE best shows I've ever gone to! Tons of great tin and some great heads up drag racing! Everything from Whizzers and scooters going down the track to full on supercharged lakes racers and injected flathead FED's running! What an awesome event! I only posted a few pictures below, so if you want to see more than 100 other pictures and even some video footage, click on this link to the thread on the HAMB that I posted...

That sure is a purdy 6-speed...
The T-56 got some paint this week. It's been really hard keeping the raw aluminum clean. Especially with all the grinding and welding going on around it. I really want all the drive train components to be pretty well blacked out anyway for a more traditional look, so I decided it needed paint. Not that it will even be seen once the body is on, but... well... you guys know how the sickness works.

Hemi Update
Alright, I've gone as deep as I'm going to go in this motor and it's slowly but surely getting reassembled. I found quite a few things wrong where the original builder cut some corners. Basically the bottom of the motor was rebuilt (crank, rods, block machined, etc, but the valve train and rocker assemblies are pretty much stock with the exception of the adjustable pushrods that were added. So, it's cleaned up, relubed, regasketed and starting to look like a Hemi again. Only changes I've made are adding a cast aluminum valley cover, new head bolts, and a nice PCV system including Mooneyes breathers. OH... and it got some paint, as you can see! :)
