For a car guy, what better way to spend your birthday than to visit the Petersen museum in LA?

Yesterday was my daughters birthday too, and we were across the street at LACMA checking out the Tim Burton show!... Highly recommended if you get a chance to see it.

Honestly I was longing for the Peterson a bit ;)

We did take in the nice little bebop car show in Burbank on Saturday, which was well attended and had some nice rides.

I checkout your site daily, diggit... Keep up the good work.

We were actually there Friday. Just late posting. :) We were going to hit the LACMA also, but I drug my feet looking at the GT40 a little too long and we didn't want to get stuck in gnarly traffic...; August 22, 2011 at 11:35 AM
Case said...: Yeah the GT40 is something special, the proportions are so right on... I find it hard to take my eyes off of them ;)

The more recent ones are nice too, there was a black one at the show on Saturday.

Actually we were admiring it and this nice older lady sidles up next to me and asks me 'what is that?'. I smiled and told her it was a Ford GT, a modern interpretation of a race car that won LeMans multiple times in the late 60's... She just nodded her head and smiled and said 'Niiice'.; August 22, 2011 at 12:27 PM
