This has always been one of my favorite WWII fighters... I believe it was also one of the longest produced fighters, being manufactured in to the early 50's.
I would give anything to go for a ride in a trainer...

When I was about 9-10 yrs. I had a Pic of Pappy Boyington's Black Sheep sqdr. on my bedroom wall, I was way into that plane.
